Ttc after bc (help or no help)??16yrs on bc, no period, 2 doc opinions. Can I make it happen or will the doc have to?

Ive been on bcp for 16yrs got off 6 months ago and only had 1 period I'm on cd60 now. First gyn said wait a year and I should get periods. Well I started taking vitex and I think I'm ovulating. Well I went to fertility doc today and he said blood and ultra sound normal so wait 3 months and if period hasn't returned come back and he will give me clomid.

I'm happy he's willing to help but june is so far away, My question is has anyone gotten pregnant using vitex with irregular cycles or gotten lucky and just gotten pregnant while waiting for docs help?
