My baby hates being a baby?

She hates being held or cradled and will squirm and scream if you try. Only wants to face outwards. She hates being rocked while you're cradling her, she'll punch and kick you and scream. She only likes being bounced while you're on the exercise ball. Like wtf?? Is my baby the only one that just doesn't want to be held or rocked? It's like how do I make you happy

My baby sometimes needs a break and her crib or stroller is what she prefers. Rocked or cradled work only if she's feeding. Other than that, she loves being held while facing away in a seated position

My son's pretty much always preferred being held vertical, either sitting or standing. I try to tell anyone who wants to hold him. Sometimes people try to cradle hold him anyway and he gets upset. *sigh* That's on them, though.

My son hates being cradled - unless he's being fed. If you try to hold him like that and don't have a boob out and ready he gets really angry.

My baby is the same way. She does not like to be cradled or rocked. I will feed her before bed and then try to rock and cuddle her and she wants nothing to do with it. She will squirm all around while I'm trying to do it but if I put her in the bassinet she will go right to sleep. She loves to stand and do her own thing!

Since my son has been born he just wants to be a social baby! The only time he is willing to lay down is when it's nap time. And even for that to happen I had to set up a schedule.

My baby is exactly the same way. She refuses to go to her grandmothers because they treat her like a baby and try to cradle hold her and baby talk to her. She gets so frustrated she's not big enough to crawl and I can't put her in her carseat or rocker because it means she's not sitting up and that makes her mad.
