My birth story was as perfect as i could ever imagine. I went in at 3am to start the pitocin, when I got there I was 4cm and 70% effaced and contracting every 6 min for about a min the pitocin started cramping in my back immediately but nothing I couldn't handle I labored till 8am and was doing great until they broke my water around 815am and then the pain hit it felt like my insides were getting ripped out I labored naturally for 2 hours like that made it to 5cm and asked for the epidural which helped immediately and took all my pain away, it didn't even hurt. After the epidural the labor stalled till about noon I was stuck at 5 then out of no where I went from 5-10 within two hours and felt the urge to push and told the dr and I was at a ten by 245 and started pushing. The pushing was the hardest part for me they had to turn down my epidural so I could feel the contractions and I ended up feeling everything I pushed for and hour and a half and my  baby girl was born at 4:09 pm on March 6th weighing 7lbs 15oz and 20 inches long. I felt myself tear but it was only first degree and felt all the stitches and the after birth hurt from all the pushing on my stomach but I didn't even care cuz I was holding my baby girl it was the most precious feeling ever she is such a good baby she is 4 days old and hardly cries and is all smiles she is fighting jaundice but has been cleared as of his Morning and I'm doing good as well with no problems from the birth or epidural and would do it all over again in a heart beat we love our little Gracie Michele jones
