ovulation question?

So we're wanting to get pregnant again and my baby is 11 months old I have not had a period since having him so my question is, is if I take ovulation tests should I just take one a day to see if I get close or should I just wait tell after I stop nursing? I know I was told I would ovulate two weeks before my first period, so any input would be nice. Thanks.

If you're not having a period it's unlikely that you ovulate (although not impossible). I'd buy a large pack of cheap test strips from Amazon  and just test every day until you either get a positive or run out of strips. Don't buy expensive branded ones: You pay for the brand and the fancy packaging, the tests are exactly the same. 
Or you could just ditch the contraceptive and have fun of course :-)
