I've had contractions every 6 minutes since yesterday. Lost my mucus plug today and dilated to a 1cm. Doctor said I'm close to labor. Is there anyway to get them from 6 minutes apart to 4-5 minutes apart ?

Time. I did exaggerated circles on a yoga ball as suggested by a midwife to help baby descend but I guess they'd speed up when it's time to go regardless of what you do.

With my first i was about every 5 mins, i then tried walking up and down the stairs sideways,that seemed to bring them on quicker for me!?
