Throwing my own shower...

So I'm 31 weeks and I've decided to throw my own little party to celebrate our second child. I want to do a cake and ice cream, have a few friends over. I'm not expecting gifts but diapers and clothes are never a bad thing. But what am I supposed to do? I only want it to be a couple hours but I don't want everyone to get bored and I'm doing this in my house. Any suggestions?
