how to increase my milk supply
My little guy was born via c-section on March 5th - aside from being 9lbs 14oz at almost 38 weeks, I had high blood pressure.
After he was born, he was moved to the nursery for observation because of his breathing, we didn't get to spend a lot of time together his first day. The second day he was brought to the NICU for the same reason.
I think my milk supply is suffering because of it. We are using SNS for now - we were using donor milk but now we're using what little I can pump and formula.
My pumping amounts seem to be getting smaller. Any advice? Anything that's worked for increasing supply?
Update: I met with an LC today. She's pretty sure I won't get my milk in since I'm 7 days PP but gave me some advice to try to up my supply to supplement formula. But where our LO is eating 60-80ml per feed, it's unlikely I'll produce that much. Thanks everyone for the support ❤️
