ParaGard: Day 3!
Hi eve ladies!
On Wednesday, I finally caved and got my ParaGard! We're using it as a little peace of mind for me until I can get approved for a bilateral salpingectomy. It was a helluva ride getting the appointment fixed with my OB/GYN, but after a little bit of misoprostol and good ol' Xanax, I walked out mildly giggly and somewhat cramping. (Still managed to go to a concert that night though!)
The following night was probably the worst of the cramps so far, with it being mostly stabbing cramps centralized more on the right side. I tend to get my period cramps more on that area, anyways. No painkillers because I'm a dumbass, but a heating pad helped tremendously!
My bleeding just started yesterday, with it being mostly brown and discharge-y (Edit: Went to the bathroom and now blood clots). I am still on my birth control pill, Lo Loestrin FE, and I plan on staying on it simultaneously if all goes well. I've still been a nervous ninny, though! I've been working out in a near board-stiff position for fear of good ol' Ice-T shifting. My checkup is in three weeks, but so far I've just been trying to figure out:
"Is that a string or my cervix?"
"To ibuprofen or not to ibuprofen?"
"Is this workout going to make it shift? Oh no, what about sex? CAN I EVEN WALK?!"
It's going to take some getting used to, but don't be afraid of the pain to try it!
