So let me start off by saying I basically begged my dr for metformin and now I regret it. 😔 I was told I had PCOS when I was 19 (23 now) I was out on birth control and I was on it until this past December when I started experiencing migraines and auras my dr took me off it because its dangerous to be on birth control and experience aura/migraines. Hubby and I decided it was a sign we should ttc! So begins the ovulation tests that show nothing is happening and my dr putting me on metformin. My problem is that it's making me so hungry and have such low blood sugar I've gained almost 5 pounds in a week and half. 😕 Also I've noticed that my back is sore right around the kidneys. Has anyone else experienced pain in the kidneys on metformin? Please help! Pain in kidneys makes me worry about all the warnings of lactic acidosis while on metformin.
