what do y'all do with a newborn?

I had my little girl on 02/24. Today seems to be the first day she's awake and alert for a good period of time. I have no idea what to do with her when she's awake since she doesn't really do anything yet. Any advice or tips??

I sing Disney songs to her, carry her around to look at the different things in the house. Massage her, have conversations with her, kiss her, bicycle her legs, nurse her, let her touch different textures. She is one month old currently.

I usually lay my baby down when he's awake and help him stretch his legs and do leg bicycles. I'll also lay him on his play mat so he can see the colors and shapes. they obviously dont show much interest at such a young age but it's beneficial! you could even read or play music

I had baby 23/2 and he's more and more awake and alert during the day and I just talk to him and give him lots of kisses. There's not much you can do with a new born, alot of the time if I have him just laying down in the lounge he tends to turn towards the TV, I think it's more the lights and sounds that attract him that what's actually on so I tend to look at the music channel most of the day.
