Period is late

So I'm on the birth control pill, microgestin. I've been on it for a year now and have had my period every month. But I never had it in February when I was supposed too. I'm now 3 weeks late. I've already taken a pregnancy test and it was negative. My boyfriend and I don't use protection. Help anyone?
