mirena/IUD

Hi everyone, I'm 19 years old and I recently got a Mirena put in. I asked all the possible questions to my doctor and we both agreed I was good for it. But I want to know what everyone's experience has been with it. When I had it put, it was a horrible experience. My hands went numb and I threw up): I was so weak! Now a week later and I have very very mild cramping and very very light bleeding. Would anyone like to share their experiences with their IUD??
