how to break the news

On thanksgiving my mother in law insisted my husband and I give her a name right then and there and kept hounding us, one of our picks for a name was Scarlett. My mother in law is very pushy well, we said we liked Scarlett but not to buy anything or embroider anything until we know for sure. Well surely enough she embroidered a diaper bag and little bags and wall decorations and blankets. We are thankful but we also said we weren't sure on that name just yet. my husband and I finally decided on Haley for a name. And now need to figure out how to tell his mother since she got all this stuff when we told her many times not too
