After cancer conceiving

I just found out i'm in remission after a long 6 months of having bowel cancer. I opted out of chemo and radiation because I want another baby more than anything. Has anyone been through this? Before I found out I had cancer we were trying for months and once I found out and was diagnosed I was so discouraged to ever start trying again. Now myself and my husband have started trying again this month with a go from my oncologist. I know my chances are lower from the surgeries and the medication I was on but I need to know some positive stories that it's possible. My two year old rainbow baby really wants a younger sibling!
