Follistim HCG injection questions

My husband and I are into injections after Clomid didn't work. My doctor gave me Provera and I just finished my last pill last night so I'm just waiting on a period. She told me to call her on the first day of my flow, but I'm not really sure what to expect after this. We already have the injections ready and they are just sitting on our kitchen counter staring at me. What can I expect after getting my period? Any experience or advice would help.
