kids and coffee??

Question

So I've seen so many pics, videos, and even experienced it with my own eyes all these parents letting their kids finish their Starbucks drinks. (Caramel macchiatos) The kids are like 1, 2, or 3 years old! 
I even have a friend who fed her 6 month old a lemon loaf from Starbucks.

Maybe as a parent you just see those big adorable eyes and can't resist!

I don't have children (but hopefully will soon) but isn't this a big no no?? Or is this completely normal?

Nope, not going to do that. Way to much sugar and I like what little sanity I have left.

Im not all on board with the coffee part. And not many kids really like the taste of coffee. But like starbucks its just packed with so much sugar you can't really taste the coffee that much. I would be more concerned about how much sugar is in those drinks. My step daughter is 7 and isn't allowed to drink soda she gets lemonade or water or milk with her meals. We let have let her have a taste of soda but that was about it and she prefers her water over the soda. Plus she has too much energy as is i dont think she needs and kind of coffee otherwise she would be 100x worse. I just prefer with my kids to not give them that maybe a taste but not a regualr type of thing. But i dont think its a big deal if it is just a little bit of the drink its not like they are drinking a full one to themselves. Maybe not the healthiest thing but im sure we all eat something or have something we like to drink that isnt healthy.

To me it's a big no no. I treat myself to those drinks every once in a while because they're full of sugar and not very healthy. There's no way in hell is willing give my toddler some. Have you seen how much energy these kids have already lol that's the last thing they need. I feel like it's on the same level as pop. If you wouldn't give your kid a can of soda pop as a toddler, don't give them your coffee, latte, etc.

My kids dont drink coffee, but in the summer if i get a lemonade from Starbucks i give them a little, but not coffee

Sometimes I treat the my stepkids to Starbucks. (They are 7 and 11) they usually order a frappucino but without the caffeine in it. I'm not going to worry about every little thing. Yeah I'm not gonna sit her and let them drink alcohol or daily coffee but I feel like Starbucks once a while without the caffeine will be fine.

I let my daughter finish off my caramel frapp sometimes. A little coffee once and while will not hurt the kid. I use finish off my grandpa's cofee like a few sips.  It's not big deal. I remember I had made teething popsicle for my daughter n put pictures of her eating people went crazy. I got offended but it was safe they still said bad eating habits and health issues. It was a damn teething pop. I also believe teach our children that it's okay have a treat I'm moderation don't have them scared of certiam things at same time domt let them over indulge.
