fTm I have no idea

I woke up with a very tight stomach and cramps. It instantly made me had to poop. They are coming and going and idk if these are Braxton hicks or true contractions. I'll feel fine for about 15 20 min and then they come back. Anyone experienced this? I don't wanna go to the hospital until I feel like for sure that they are contractions. Hospital is about 40 minutes away
