I think you can be in love with the idea of being in love with two different people, because no one likes to admit that they're lusting after someone else, especially if they're in a committed relationship and it can be quite confusing because sometimes lust really does feel like love, but sooner or later, you're going to have to make a choice.

If you think you love two people (in love) chances are you are only actually in love with one of them. You might be in love with the idea of the other person, but you're probably only in love with one.

There's a difference between loving someone and being in love with someone  can you love 2 ppl at once yes of course. But if your in love with someone then there wouldn't be a 2nd one

I've tried polyamory in the past. I am simply not wired that way. I can LIKE two people. I can theoretically date two or more people and be attracted to multiple people. But to have a deep, intense connection with someone to the point that I'd call it romantic love? No. I can't do that. Also it's important for me to note the distinction of loving and being in love with. I love my male friends and care for them deeply, but am not in love with them.
