When did you ladies announce when you were pregnant

19 weeks today and haven't told anyone yet. Hopefully I'll tell everyone next week after my anatomy scan.

6 weeks with first, never announced 2nd (found out at 9 weeks and miscarried right after), 8 weeks with the 3rd (lost him at 31 weeks), 5 weeks with his one.  I don't believe that there is a magical safe time anymore.  Stillbirths still happen and miscarriages are nothing to be ashamed of.

We told our parents after our first ultra sound at 6 weeks, our siblings and some close aunts and uncles around 8-9 weeks, and everyone else after 12 weeks.

14weeks as that's when we saw the heartbeat and got confirmation. We thought we were about 8weeks so was quite a shock to see a big baby on screen not some little blob of cells!

First pregnancy I announced at 8 weeks, then lost it at 11 weeks and it was horrible announcing a miscarriage... and not everyone saw it and people asked me when I was due for months after. This time I waited until 16 weeks.

Each pregnancy was different. We've been pregnant 12 times, and had 7 losses. Even with the possibility of loss, we announce relatively early. I talk about my losses openly to heal, reduce the stigma around loss, and help others going through loss. We've announced between 6 and 10 weeks.
