Spectra S1 or Medela Pump In Style?

Question

I've spent so much time debating between these 2 and I have to let my insurance company know tomorrow! Which is better and why? The Medela is covered completely by insurance (but includes nothing extra at all) and the Spectra S1 would be $95 out of pocket.

I've heard great stories about spectra s2... My lactation consultant recommended spectra. Said it's more like the sucking of baby than a machine. I'm getting the s2 tho

My first baby I did the medela pump in style. It worked. Took awhile to get my body used to using it and I had to have medela replace it 4 times before I got a pump that worked properly. This was 22 months ago.

My second son who is 6 months I started using the spectra s2 and love it so much more. Doesn't hurt to pump or anything and it does increase your milk supply. I have totally become a spectra lover.

Our baby is in the NICU so I go back and forth between the Mandela and Spectra. At the hospital I use their pump (Medela) and at home I use the spectra S2. I love my Spectra. It is so much more comfortable and I get so much more milk out with each pump. The only pitfall with the Spectra is that it doesn't have nearly the accessories that the Mandela has. But as far as comfort and supplies I like it SO much better.
