help me understand my contractions!
40 + 3 weeks pregnant. FTM here.
I went yesterday for an OB appointment. When he checked my cervix I wasn't dilated or soft at all. He made be bleed though! First time for that and I've been checked multiple times. I also showed contractions on the NST, but I didn't realize they were happening. I was chalking it up to baby movement or gas. Today it's pretty clear to me it happening.
I've been having contractions all day long today. Generally about 10 - 12 minutes apart, but free from discomfort.
What do you guys think about this? Don't want to call labor and delivery just being that girl. I'm scheduled to go in to start induction tomorrow night.
