Has anyone on here ever taken phentermine to lose weight? If so do you have anything to say about it like how well it does or doesn't work and the do's or don'ts??

My SO is a pharmacy tech and this is what he said about it:
A lot of people experience rapid "hummingbird" heart beats and panic attacks. Sometimes chest pain and headaches. Most people he's seen that took it didn't seem to lose a lot of weight and gave up on it within a few months. He says avoid alcohol. Its not just a magic weight loss pill, it will only HELP if you do the work and diet.

He says he personally thinks its a waste of money. Take his opinion as just an opinion, though.
