How do you go swimming while on your period without using a tampon

Use a tampon or menstral cup. If you can't or won't do that then DO NOT SWIM. I say this as a former competitive swimmer that knows all too well the you period is not stopped by water. I also say this as a former lifeguard that has had to clear a pool out due to some girl having her period. We had to take everyone out of the water and inform them they'd been potentially exposed to someone's blood (so uncomfortable) because chlorine can't kill a virus. Don't swim without a tampon/cup. It's not sanitary at all. Just wait till after your period to swim.
