Would you hire a guy babysitter?

So I've been a babysitter to many families since I was like 8 and was also a nanny for a year. I also worked at doggy day care and my bf did too, but about 2 months ago he was let go. Anyway, so I babysit a lot and last night when I was leaving to go babysit my bf asked about guy babysitters and said nobody would probably want or trust him around their kids. I mean ya he's never watched kids, but he could totally do it. And honestly it'd be so attractive, but obviously the childcare business is prodominately female. He said he'd probably have to work twice as hard as a woman, but I disagree. I think if I had kids and a guy wanted to watch my kids and was passionate about child care the way that I am, I'd be really impressed. I don't think he's looking into it, I think he's just trying to think of anything at this point. So anyway, would you be comfortable with a male babysitter?
