Growing back fried hair?

Question

On new years I had a friend help me bleach my hair out. I guess she didn't pay attention to the fact that it fried my hair in half. I really dont want to cut my hair, its halfway down my back. But a layer in the middle of my hair is probably about half the length. Anyone know of good, fast, reliable ways to get my hair to grow back out long and healthy? I already take Biotin and Folic Acid. Cutting my hair is not an option. Thanks!

You will definitely need to cut your hair especially at your ends. Your hair will just look damaged without a healthy cut. Whenever I get highlights (I was a heavy highlighted blonde for many years) I used "it's a 10" hair mask and deep leave in conditioner. Best stuff on the market ! Use their shampoo too..then put the hair mask in your hair and comb through. If ur in the shower, leave in for 5 min and then rinse. If you want to really condition it, towel dry your hair and then apply and comb through, put a plastic cap over it and leave on for 15-20 min. U can even hear it up with your blow dryer so it sets in. Then rinse out with cool water as this closes the follicle. I work at a hair salon for the last 10 years and we do this all the time and it works amazingly !!! Do that a few times a week and ur hair will be amazing! Then use the its a 10 leave in conditioner and spray that in before blowdrying ! Good luck! Hope this helps

You're hair will keep growing as long as you take care of it & don't apply too much heat. But it's really the ends you should worry about, you probably need a trim because if not it'll lead to breakage.

At the very least, trim a few inches off the bottom to get rid of the fried ends. You can condition it (coconut oil is a great leave in conditioner,) but it is just going to have to grow out.

Try soaking your hair in coconut oil every night for like a week. Or at least every other night.

I would wash my hair at night to make sure it's clean and then put the coconut oil into my damp hair, tie it up and leave it over night(you might want to sleep on a towel or something so it doesn't ruin your pillow) and then wash it out in the morning. 
It tremendously helped my hair heal and grow stronger.

No one should ever ever ever just bleach your hair out for that reason. It can cause serious damage. My sister let a "friend" do it and she didn't know what she was doing..needless to say this girl put the tips of my sisters hair on her scalp and the bleach burned a hole through her hair and now she has a bald spot. she had to go to the burn unit of the hospital. Her hair won't grow back there because the hair folicls were burned out.

In the end go to someone who was trained to do this stuff. Its taught in a school for a reason. Putting bleach on your hair is obviously going to burn it bad. I suggest you go to a professional and ask their opinion
