Did anyone else get judgy people with rude comments when they didn't wear their wedding ring?

I had to beg my mom to help me look for a ring that fits since my wedding band was a size too small and my engagement ring was a size too big. (We are both getting new wedding bands as part of our healing process from an affair on his part, which is why I'm living with my parents at the moment.) We went out of town to a family friend's house for a weekend and I cried because I didn't want the people at their church to think I was just some pregnant teenager.
