My boyfriend (now officially fiancé!) proposed last weekend, and I am beyond excited to be his bride. He do SO well with the proposal and the ring is everything I ever dreamed of (for years all I have wanted was an aquamarine center stone, and he pulled it off!). The wedding planning has begun now, and we are a young couple supporting our own farm, and we are financing the wedding ourselves. Our budget is $3,000 for EVERYTHING. We are having a small wedding, 30-40 guests, no bridal party (bridesmaids/groomsmen), no DJ (will be using a playlist for reception and my uncle will be announcing us). I am trying to be creative and think of other ways to cut costs but sill have a sweet southern wedding and throw a fun party for my guests. Has anyone else planned a wedding on a tight budget, and do you have any suggestions? Any advice is appreciated!
