A nail salon said they are charging people extra for being fat! What the hell?!

Well, that makes no sense. I've seen clothes be more expensive because they use for fabric... But this is just an excuse to bully overweight people.

I can only imagine what "heavier" people feel. That's so heartbreaking 😔 I would literally cry my eyes out if someone tried to overcharge me because of my weight.

They should have just raised prices a bit for everyone because this will be really difficult to enforce. I have no doubt they are using more creams/oils for massage on legs, etc. and I'm sure it does add up. But, like o said, just raise the price a little for everyone.

I live in Tennessee and I'm pretty sure that is a salon here in my town. It's ridiculous. I can't even believe they thought to do that.

Did anyone look up the article? The owner says there was never a sign. He did say he's turned people away as his chairs have been broken due to overweight customers.

Did anyone see the sign? I think it's fake...just my opinion.

Well, good luck with that for them because they can not tell anyone they are overweight by the way they look. Pretty sure they could be sued or something for that. And they can not force you to tell them how much you weigh or force you to step on a scale! They will stop doing this because I'm pretty sure they will lose business like crazy. It's really stupid because yes some bigger people have bigger feet due to weight and some do not. They are saying it is due to cost of stuff, we what about the people come in that just have really big feet by birth? Will they be charged more as well? Also some people can not control that they are overweight. Sorry, this mad me upset though. My sister is overweight and not due to her choices. She is an extremely  healthy eater and does sports like crazy and works out almkst constantly, but her thyroid is out of whack due to her having a brain tumor.
