Weight gain from medication

I am on a medication that is a prescription NSAID and I started it in January 2017 and since then I have gained 30 pounds in basically 3 months. Would this be considered rapid weight gain? And if so, if I stop taking the medicine how can I get the weight back off? Or will it gradually come off after stopping the medicine? And as a side note before anyone says anything, I will be going to my doctor about this as well. I just wondered if anyone else experienced this. The medication is Mobic 15 mg. Generic version is Meloxicam 15mg. Any suggestions
