Uncomfortable pregnant sex.... 😩

So I'm a little over 9 weeks pregnant. My husband and I just had some time to get down and dirty. Well, it was not that pleasant. Super uncomfortable and a little painful! I had cramping feelings the whole time and my vagina just felt like it was shoving a square peg through a round hole. I could tell my husband was so worried too bc he said it was written all over my face. Afterwards he felt all bad and said he felt like he was practically abusing his pregnant wife. (Poor thing feels terrible.) Has anyone else had this problem? I already have a low sex drive now and this on top of it sucks.
