Gender disappointment??

I'm telling myself I won't care either way but playing the Sims today, my family had a girl and my heart sank. Subconsciously hoping for a boy apparently lol!

I think gender disappointment is very real and normal. You mourn the baby that could of been (the other gender) but I think once that wears off you start imagining life with the baby you are having. Then the excitement begins!

I have always wanted a boy. My husband has a 7 year old son from a previous marriage, and REALLY wanted a girl. He wanted to do tea parties and dress up princess, etc. He wanted a girl so badly, he even swayed my decision, and I ended up rooting for team pink. I was so disappointed at the ultrasound when we found out it was a boy. I felt so bad for him. He is still excited (I can't tell if he's really disappointed, or if he's just hiding it from me), and I think once you have your baby, you won't care. You'll just be happy to have a healthy baby.

lol im obsessed with sims💘 but i was really hoping for a boy and when we were told its a girl i was really shocked and kind of disappointed but now that its sunken in i am soo excited for my baby girl💖
