When to stop TTC

Question

I'm not even sure which board to post this on because I fall into so many different categories... I've been trying to conceive for four years, had three unsuccessful IUIs, one fresh IVF cycle (MC at 6 weeks) and one frozen IVF cycle (MC at 10 weeks). I know some people have been through much more, and those ladies give me strength, but I don't know how much longer I can stay on this journey. My doctor has a few more tests to run, but says she and the other eight doctors at her practice are stumped. Am I amiss to think about stopping... or should I keep pressing on? I feel lost.

I've been TTC for 4 years also.. I have my days where I have a mental breakdown and think maybe it's because I don't deserve a baby and then I have days like today where I told my husband that I'm honestly okay with whatever Gods plans are and that it's still fun trying. I wish I could tell you my tricks and ways of dealing with it but honestly it's a month to month thing. I was told just this year that i have a retroverted cervix and that it could be the reason it's been hard to conceive but I had another doctor tell me that that wouldn't make it any harder. Idk sometimes I don't think doctors even know what they are talking about. My cousin is a gypsy (I know what you're thinking cause I did to at first) but she told me that my body is too wound up in stress that its what's causing infertility. So I've been doing yoga and removing myself from stress. And I got pregnant. I did miscarry over the weekend and didn't even know I was pregnant until then BUT I got pregnant. It was a bitter sweet moment. I'm sorry this was long, just understand you are not alone and we all cope with things differently. Best suggestion, don't give up but find a brighter way at looking at the situation. Good luck <3

I am sorry for all the heartache you are going through. I can't imagine how stressful this has all been for you. I want to give you some hope. My mom was TTC for 8 years. She experienced multiple failed trials of clomid, IUI, 2 failed IVFs and then just when she was giving up she got naturally pregnant with me at age 41, and my sister accidentally 17 months later. This was almost 30 years ago. Nobody walks your journey but you, and I hope there's a happy ending for you very soon.
