Does anyone else have a huge fear and anxiety about possibly miscarrying?

I don't know why but with this second pregnancy I'm way more worried about complications than I was with my first. Im only 7 weeks today. No bleeding. Occasional Naseau. And very tired. But still worried about my ultrasound next Monday. Should I be worried?

One thing I read when I first learned I was pregnant was about worrying and it really helped me. It was a comment made by another mom. She said that at first you worry about miscarriage rates and if the pregnancy is viable and if you can even get pregnant. Then you reach the next milestone and worry about birth defects and what you're eating and that next test or ultrasound you just want to get to. Is the babies weight good, heart rate on track? etc. Honestly, there will ALWAYS be another reason to worry and choosing how you're going to handle that is a hard step (I'm an anxious person myself). Things can go wrong, but all you can do is try to enjoy what you have while you have it and not let worrying ruin all of the amazing and special moments that come along with this journey. Way easier said than done though.

I'm not sure why anyone would ever tell you that you should be worried when you have zero symptoms to be worried about....I think people may be answering yes to your initial questions of if you get anxiety about miscarrying. 
So, yes, I'm sure many people have a little anxiety in the beginning, not knowing until you hear the heartbeat etc. But should you be worried right now? No.

Honestly I never planned on getting pregnant so the whole thing was a huge shock. But nonetheless I was super nervous before every doctors appointment that they might find something wrong. My sister in law had suffered from blighted ovum just months before. I wanted to get a home Doppler so badly so I can check the heart beat cause it's really weird to wonder if the little thing you're growing is still alive or not. Also it didn't help that I would read so many posts on here about girls who lost babies and didn't know it until doc appointments etc. now I'm 23 weeks and feel the kicks regularly so I've calmed down completely. For someone who never wanted children I sure was nervous and anxious about losing the baby. So It sounds like you really planned your second baby so I can just imagine how nervous you must be. I rate it's totally normal to feel scared. But try to just stay calm. Stressing might just make it much worse and cause you to experience things that aren't there. I would say just stay calm and enjoy the pregnancy! Good luck!
