is sex ever just sex or does it mean more?

Okay so I recently got out of a serious relationship and let's just say my ex and I still partake in activities that we probably shouldn't... anyway, I'm texting someone else and he's talking to/beginning to date someone else as well.

I've never even kissed a guy besides him (my ex) and I miss the physical parts of being in a relationship but I know I'm not ready to jump into something with someone new after two years but I can't help the fact that I'm a very sexual person and crave sex and sexual interactions.

I've always thought sex is something that should happen when there are feelings involved (for me anyway) and can't seem to talk myself out of that mindset. Has anyone kind of had the same mental debate?

I understand how you feel. Don't go on a spree of sex. It's not going to be good in the end. Just wait until you find someone who's special to you. You'll find a guy. If you don't you can always talk to me or someone.

I've had sex with guys I didn't have feelings for... went through a hookup stage... it was fun but it's not anything I remember very well to this day. Sometimes I forget I even had sex with certain guys lol. But when feelings were involved with past boyfriends, I remember those times much better and the sex was way better.

I can relate girl!! But trust me, the more self control you learn to have the better. When you're talking to someone new bht still seeing, doing stuff with, and holding onto your ex, you'll never dull be able to commit to a new relationship.. even without sex. You need to do the best you can to just be happy single or just make the final decisions to either be in a new relationship and cut off your ex entirely, or stop the new relationship from happening befor things get out of hand...
