VBAC OR CESAREAN???

Question

Long story short-my oldest was born via emergency cesarean 14 years ago, my 2nd was a planned surgery 12 years ago. I wanted to try for a VBAC howveee I've been so miserable with this pregnancy that I just want to be over already. 
I'm 30+3, my dr won't do surgery before 39 weeks. I'm due 5.28. My oldest daughters 8th grade promotion is 5.25. Should I do the surgery since I'm high risk for the same problems that led to the 1st? Or should I wait & see what happens? 
I'm so afraid that I will have the same problems again & end up in surgery....but I also don't want to miss my daughters promotion. 
Hopefully this all made sense. What would you do??? Just curious.

I would always opt for a vaginal birth first. Less risks and complications for both you and baby. If you need a csection, they can do it then. It's been shown that even some labor is beneficial for the baby and you are more less likely to have a premature baby.

You should do whatever is best for you and your baby. You can always try to deliver your baby vaginally and if it doesn't work out then deliver through c-section. But if you want to have a c-section than go for it, there's nothing wrong with it.

I have no experience but I'd trust the Drs. Idk how it is for you, but with scar tissue it might make sense to listen. Just make sure you take care of yourself. 😊
