Betrayal?

It brings sadness to me seing my highschool friends turn their back at me. Like, what did I do? It all started when I find out that one of them was talking behind my back, not to tag them along to their party. After I knew about that I hurriedly ran to my other friend's house for comfort. What should I do? Should I block them on facebook and not follow them?

Answer

Going into high school I had over 10 friends that I called good friends, and 15 that were just friends to me. Made some over the years. By the time I graduated I had 5. 2 years later and it's still those 5.

I didn't understand what I did wrong why were so many of my dearest friends talking about me behind my back, turning their back on me, just stopped being my friend cold turkey. Was upset it about it each time, a little less each time. Considered it a great learning experience.

By senior year I realized only your true friends will stick by your side, if anyone doesn't want to be in my life, there's the door. High school especially is  a great experience for realizing who your true friends are.

I know it must hurt, we've all been there, it gets better, just surround yourself with those who deserve to be your friend who see how amazing you are.
