Maybe it's just a coincidence

Yesterday as I was leaving work I saw a dead rat in the parking lot in front of my office. This morning as I was leaving for work there was a dead animal not right in front of my house but close enough to it. I think it might have been a gopher or a possum. I'm not sure because I drove by it quickly, but I know it was an animal. Now maybe it was a coincidence. I'm trying to keep the images out of my mind, especially because I'm already feeling a little sick. I just hope it's not some sort of weird sign.
