weird period
I take birth control pills and I also use condoms but my last period didn't come at all, I got worried that there was somehow a freak accident but I took a pregnancy test and it was negative and I researched the specific pill I take and it said occasional missed periods weren't uncommon so I was like OK, I'll try not to worry until my next period, if that doesn't come I'll probably go to the doctor to ask her what's up. My period usually starts Saturday night or Sunday morning and is over by Tuesday or Wednesday. And it came sunday like usual but it was odd because it was dark brown like it usually would be towards the end of a period but my entire period was like that. I couldn't wear a tampon because I wasn't really bleeding and it didn't even really stain the pad, it was almost like discharge, sorry if that's TMI by the way. I looked it up and I read that usually it will be dark brown if its older blood so I'm thinking it's like that since my last period didn't come and it's just old blood (more like hoping because I also read this could be signs of pregnancy ) but anyway for anyone who knows more than me, that makes sense right? It's dark brown because it's old because my last period didn't come is that realistic ?
