I see these beautiful artsy pictures of women in labor. They're in full makeup and hair, a smile or very calm focused look on their face. Absolutely stunning..... And then there's me 😂 
UPDATE: holy smokes. The most unattractive photo I have ever taken has been seen 35,000 times. That's okay. He's worth it. ❤️
This is a photo my SO took on his cellphone and he said "you'll laugh later" I was pissed at the moment but ultimately he was right. I was on my second day of labor and finally far enough dilated to get my antibiotics for strep B. (That's what the IV is.)
No hate to the moms who posted those beautiful labor photoshoot pictures, I'm honestly jealous. I just wanted to throw this out there for moms like me. If your labor wasn't picture perfect, you're definetly not alone!
