Usually once a person cheats, they tend to do it again. If my bf cheated on me, I would break up with him, in theory at least. Why?

1. Possibility of him doing it again because my 'forgiveness' is taken for an okay
2. He betrayed me. If i can't trust him, there's no relationship
3. I don't think there is any excuse to cheat on anyone. It's hurtful and no one deserves it--just leave
4. It's a form of disrespect 
5. It translates to "This relationship isn't worth it"
6. He couldn't communicate with me what the problem was?!?!

When we were dating, My husband cheated on me & then I cheated on him. It was a shit show. We're married now with our own home, own cars, jobs, & a sweet 4 month old baby boy. It took a long, long time to get through the shit we put each other through but now I can honestly say we are happy. I could not imagine going through life without my best friend

I cheated on my partner multiple times at the start of our relationship due to lack of attention from him I regret it and luckily I have the most amazing boyfriend who took me back forgave me and we moved on we've been together 4 years and I've changed it means me having major lifestyle changes and losing friends but that's fine by me because things couldn't be better at the moment :)

No. Generally I think a lot of people who cheat once end up doing it again, but I think others do learn from their mistakes. Also, I think it depends on the circumstances that made them resort to cheating.
