My LO is 7 weeks old and the past couple days I have been feeling like such a failure! He is fussy and the only way I can get him to nap during the day is to put him in his swing or go for a drive. When he starts showing signs of being tired I try to hold him and get him to sleep but he starts screaming and turning bright red. I try rocking him or walking around in a dark room, if I put him in my arms laying down he just starts searching for my boob and I don't want him to depend on nursing to fall asleep as what happens when I'm not there. Everytime I end up caving and putting him in the swing and he calms down and goes to sleep. Others seem to be able to get him to sleep but I'm home alone during the day and it's just starting to make me feel like an absolute failure!
