Are you swaddling your babies?

Question

Anyone swaddling? Do you swaddle for naps or just at bedtime? What kind of swaddle are you using?

We swaddle at night, a woombie, and she loves it. Sleeps 5-6 hr stretch then another 3. But should I do this for naps too? She's a very sleepy baby and usually naps on me or in her swing, not her bed... guess we need to work on that

We use the Velcro Swaddleme sacs at night only. During naps we usually put her in the rock and play and just tuck her blanket in around her. I've read that swaddling only at night helps baby to know the difference between a nap and bedtime.

I swaddle for naps and bedtime. If she's not swaddled, she takes super short naps! I use the "super swaddle" technique, it's the only one she doesn't break out of. You can YouTube it! It's a large muslin swaddle and a receiving blanket.

We swaddle at night with just a blanket. I'm kind of tired of swaddling and we tried switching to a sleep sack, but she kept startling herself awake, haha. We don't swaddle for naps. We're lucky to get a good nap from her these days 😩

Swaddle only at night and he sleep aroung 8 to 10 hours! Usualy take his nap in his swing or pack and play. Or on me haha.

I swaddle always at night and sometimes for naps but she won't sleep at night if she isnt. I tried the Swaddle Me brand and the velcro is waaaay to loud for mode of the night diaper changes. I find that she was too hot in a sleep sack so we stopped those too.  I use just a large muslin square and do an old fashioned swaddle and it's been working out great.

No we have a hot baby lol she hates socks and being wrapped up, her dad is the same way. If she's crabby I take her socks off and she gets so happy. If I swaddle she gets her mad cry and actual tears lol, she never cries with tears.

We use velcro halo swaddle sacks but our baby overheats in them (and she gets heat rash all over I feel so bad 😭) so we don't do it too often anymore!

I've used the Swaddleme sacs from day 1. Took it to the hospital and used it for naps & bedtime every time. Sometimes he falls asleep as soon as I start tucking him into it. Might switch to the Woombie at 3 months so he can move his arms a bit more.
