Dr checked me today and said im super thin and wanted to give me steroid for baby's lungs since I had irregular contractions. But what is thin? My cervix? He can feel that??

Yes your cervix thins before labor and he can tell because instead of your cervix feeling like jello or something else squishy as it normally would he can feel baby's head instead.
