hyperemesis gravidarum anyone else suffering?

In need of some support ❤️😔

I've been sick since week 4, firstly a few times a day then it just kept increasing and increasing to the point where I've been hospitalised twice. 
I'm currently taking Ondansatron 3 times a day and it's been good for the past 4 days so hopefully it's working! 
I've tried 4 other anti medics with no joy. 
I'm a plus size lady so luckily I have only lost around 1 1/2stone in total due to the sickness.

I'm just finding it hard with family and friends not understanding what it's like and suggesting stupid things that I've already tried (ginger) I just feel that they're making me out to be pathetic and overreactive but they don't understand how bad it got.

Also I'm feeling pretty down about the whole pregnancy anyway, it's a miracle that me and husband are pregnant and we were trying for a while but after all the sickness I'm just not getting excited about it, I'm dreading every day that the meds won't work and I'll be sick again and the cycle will continue. I guess it's understandable but I just don't feel any joy.

I'm going to speak to my midwife about this as well but I'm so glad some lovely ladies can help me and each other in our journey being pregnant with HG as I feel I have no one to relate to at the moment.

I'm still sick at 16 weeks… That said I'm doubtful that I have HG because I only throw up a couple of times a week… But I have bid on several medications simultaneously the whole time and threw up a ton when I wasn't on them. I'm curious whether you guys have tried Diclegis, Zofran, or combination? I also have a suppository that I use for when I can't keep oral medication down

Your not alone. I'm 16 weeks and still losing weight. Mine was uncontrollable nausea and dry heaving mixed with uncontrollable diarrhea. Lots of fun. I am starting to feel better now, it is still a constant struggle to eat. Feel like a shell of a functional human. I am on restricted activity now too so body is quickly losing conditioning and strength.

I dont think I have HG, it's only 2-3 times a week now that I puke. I had them change my heartburn meds and I'm still taking two diclegis at night but zofran during the day when nausea hits. This combo seems to be working the best so far.

Fyi - the whole not drinking when you eat thing... Soooooo true!

Yes I have HG and it's the worst. Literally like a living nightmare. I have been signed off work now nearly 6 weeks and just been signed off for another 3. Every day is a real battle and I am just really hoping that it reduces around week 15 - 20 rather than continues for the whole pregnancy. Feel free to get in touch I know how bad it is. Also there is a good website here in the U.K., pregnancy sickness support that might be worth a look. I am just trying to sit it out and try not to get too emotionally affected by the whole thing :/
