After Two Weeks, she finally arrives!

I finally got my period after being late for two whole weeks! I'm so glad that I'm not pregnant. But I have a question. Is it normal for my period to come late when you're sexually active? I'm a newbie to this sex thing, and I don't know all the ins and outs yet.
