is june 25 too late for my baby shower!?

I'm due July 17 but my best friend wants to fly here and stay until I give birth so I made my shower super late! Did many of you first time moms have baby super early!? I'm so nervous I'm going to go into labor at my shower!!

My daughter came at 36 weeks and 3 days. Just 3 days after her baby shower. They really do come when they want too.

That would be too late for me because I am a planner and like to organize. My shower is April 29 and I'm due July 5. I want to have time to purchase whatever else I need after the shower. But I understand why you want to do it then! It'll be fun to have your best friend there.

It's suggested to do a baby shower at least 3-4 weeks before baby! With my first I had the shower 3 weeks before she came for my 2nd I had a scheduled c-section so I knew I was save to have it 3 weeks before and this one I'm doing 6 weeks before mainly to avoid holidays!  If you feel comfortable then do it but if you have a gut feeling you should do it earlier I would!

You would be a day before turning 37 weeks ... I know because I am due July 10 and I will be a day before turning 38 weeks ... technically 37 weeks is full term . Obviously anything can happen but I would say the odds of you going into labor a day before becoming full term are pretty slim . I wouldn't worry about it too much. And if it makes you feel better,  I'm having my baby shower when I am 36 weeks  😌😌.

I am due July 16th!! And planning my baby shower around the first week of June! I have a big fear of going into labor before July gets here as well! Good luck!
