The Indigo Girls are a folk-rock duo from Georgia who have been singing together since the 1980s about activism, environmentalism, love, and everything in between.
They're both out as lesbians (but not together!) and have young daughters. Catch one of their live concerts if you can––it's a multi-generation LGBTQ (and straight allies!) love fest as far as the eye can see.
