PERIOD HACKS: Making a makeshift pad

Once you get yourself to the nearest ladies' room, start off by folding a thick rectangular wad of toilet paper or paper towels that will fit in your underwear. Next, wrap more toilet paper around the open sides, and when you feel that it will be sufficiently absorbent, situate it in your underwear. The last and most important step is to wrap more toilet paper around the pad and your underwear to keep everything in place as you move.
