At 8 weeks 5 days can they see the baby through a regular ultrasound or do they have to do vaginally?

At 10 weeks, they had to use the dildo wand. I'm a little bigger though, so maybe that had something to do with it.

I went at 8 weeks. Mine was transvaginal.

I had a 10w3d ultrasound yesterday and my OB did it vaginally.

It depends. I was 8 weeks with mine and she tried refusal but said my bowels were in the way so we did it transvaginally. It's really not that bad. You're covered up and it's not like they're just looking at your vagina.

I was 9w4d at my first ultrasound. Was expecting to have a transvaginal one done but they did it normally and saw everything just fine. I just had to drink a ton of water.

I was almost 10 weeks when we found out and they did the belly ultra sound and you could see the baby fine.

You can see it with abnormal abdominal. I was 7w3d and they saw with abdominal.

Vaginal ultrasounds are really not that bad. And you will have to get used to it anyway, that's now they measure your cervix later on in pregnancy.
