Are companies or immigrants to blame?

I don't see how you could blame someone for getting a job and supporting their family. We all compete for jobs, regardless of citizenship status. But yeah I blame companies for taking advantage of people to underpay them. My dad lost his job where he was making $32 an hour. They replaced everyone making more than $16 an hour and hired people for $11.

I agree with the OP. And in a way, employers have actually caused a huge issue for those of us who are average lower/middle class citizens, because many employers know that they can always hang it over our heads that they can "find someone who's willing to work for minimum wage" if we dare to ask for a living wage. The immigrants are definitely not to blame here as they're just trying to make a living as we are.

I blame the system of economics and ppl trying to circumvent or undermined legal and ethical standards of employing ppl properly. Undocumented workers are just trying to take care of their families the same as us, so with that being said, better economy, jobs, and comprehensive immigration laws should assist in this problem.

They're the ones that send their jobs overseas to exploit people in other countries. They're the ones who want people to work for them at the lowest wages possible.
